Low-budget films

In late 2013, it was rumored that treatments for Suicide Squad, Deathstroke and Team 7 were to be announced, with the plan to release the films alongside the bigger titles at a rate of two per year, with a reduced budget.[20] However, as of 2015, Suicide Squad and Booster Gold/Blue Beetle alone have been announced, however the latter was confirmed to have no connective tissue to the DC Extended Universe.[21]

Future films

Depending on how successful the films are, other films have been announced as possibilities including more films based on Superman, a solo film for Batman and Dark Universe. A Hawkman film was mentioned in 2011, though no news has been heard since.[22]

Films for Lobo, Green Arrow, Metal Men, The Legion of Superheroes, Teen Titans and a Flash/Green Lantern crossover film have all been rumoured[23]. A Birds of Prey film is also rumoured to be in development. [24]
