The Central Hub was a large spire in the city of Kandor that contained the Genesis Chamber.

After escaping General Zod's forces after he staged a coup on the Kryptonian Law Council, Jor-El went to the Central Hub and dived into the Genesis Chamber retrieving the Growth Codex. A Kryptonian Attack Ship fire on Jor-El who escaped on H'Raka.[1]
